This website, biomasshub.in ("Website", "we", "us", "our"), is owned and operated by Riversons Green Industries Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U74909ME2026PTC475463), with its registered office at CHAVHAN TRADERS OM COLONY, PROPERTY NO 2368, WARD A6, V.M.V. Amravati- 444604, Maharashtra, India, trading under the brand name BiomassHub.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the Website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to visitors, prospective buyers, farmers, aggregators, and franchise/partnership applicants who interact with the Website.
By using the Website or submitting any form on it, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit your information to us.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect personal data only through the forms you choose to submit on the Website. We do not require you to create an account to browse the site.
- Contact / Quote Request form: name, company name, designation, email address, phone number, product interest, order volume, and any message you provide.
- Farmer Registration: name, phone number, village/district location, land or field details relevant to biomass collection, including GPS field boundary coordinates where provided, and bank or payment details necessary to process procurement payments, where applicable.
- Aggregator / Franchise Plant / Plant Partnership applications: name, phone number, email address, business or investment details relevant to the application, and any documents you choose to upload.
- Automatically collected data: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected through basic website analytics. We do not knowingly collect any personal data beyond what is submitted through these forms or generated through ordinary browsing.

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, given at the point you submit a form, and, where applicable, to take steps at your request prior to entering into an arrangement with us (for example, evaluating a franchise application) or to comply with our legal obligations (for example, retaining procurement records). This Policy is intended to meet our obligations as a data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable rules under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share it only in the following circumstances:
- With industrial buyers, where GPS farm-origin and batch traceability data is a core part of the product we supply.
- With service providers who help us operate the Website, process payments, or run our procurement operations.

6. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by applicable law (for example, financial and procurement records required under the Companies Act, 2013, or tax law). Farmer and aggregator records connected to an active or recent supply relationship are retained for the duration of that relationship plus the statutory record-keeping period applicable to our business.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we review our practices periodically as our systems evolve (including our GPS traceability platform).

If the Website uses cookies or similar technologies (for example, for basic analytics), we will use them only to understand aggregate usage of the Website and to improve it. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some Website functionality. We do not currently use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct or update, withdraw consent, request erasure, nominate another individual, and lodge a grievance with us in the first instance and thereafter with the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

10. Children's data
The Website and our services are directed at businesses, farmers, and adult individuals in a professional or commercial capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction
